Welcome to the Jacksonville 3D project. Work has really just begun but the goal of this project is to create an accurate, working model of downtown Jacksonville in a 3D environment. Why? Boredom!

All models are being created from photograph references that I’ve taken. I don’t currently have access to documentation on any of the structures so this was the only method available.

The end result of this project will be an interactive presentation of downtown Jacksonville. The site will feature still renderings, animated renderings, and some slick Flash transitions rendered with Swift3D.
